Freshwater Partnerships Development Manager

Jenny Wheeldon

Jenny is developing our freshwater partnerships programme, which involves supporting people to take creative approaches to looking after their local freshwaters (rivers, streams, lakes, ponds and wetlands).

Jenny joined from Natural England and the Environment Agency, where she led on restoring protected rivers, including policy, delivery mechanisms and practice. She previously managed partnership projects in the charity, private and public sector. Jenny is an advisor to the cross-UK IUCN River Restoration and Biodiversity programme, River Restoration Centre and the Blue Space Forum.

Jenny is keen on encouraging access to nature for all - including sustainable transport and making cycling more inclusive.
