1. Analytics Cookies

We use cookies to track a user’s session, statistics about the devices used to visit the site, and when users last visited or did something on the site. No personal information is stored in these cookies. To do this, we use Google Analytics, and the data we capture includes:

• Geographic Location (inexact - usually to the nearest large city)
• Device information - including type (e.g. Desktop vs Tablet vs Mobile), browser, and network carrier
• Time spent on the website - including time spent on individual pages
• How users move through the site - including what links are clicked on, and where you accessed the site from.

Google Analytics does not make Personal Identifiable Information, such as IP addresses, accessible to end users, and so there is no practical way for the Foundation to know which specific individuals are accessing this site with the information collected.

a. Necessary cookies

• csrftoken is a cookie from our web platform that helps to keep your connection to the website secure.
• VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA is a cookie that records your consent state for any YouTube elements on our site.
• __cf_bm is a cookie set by Cloudflare to support their services.
• esctx-*, esctx, x-ms-gateway-slice, stsservicecookie, MS0, and MSFPC are cookies set by Microsoft to ensure security.

b. Functional cookies

c. Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies help us, and third-party services we add to the site, to understand how visitors interact with us.

• YSC is a cookie set by YouTube to track viewer statistics on embedded videos.
• _ga and _ga_* are cookies set by Google Analytics to track visitor statistics.
• vuid is a cookie set by Vimeo to track viewer statistics on embedded videos.
• ai_session is a cookie set by Microsoft’s “Application Insights” software, to gather statistical data for apps built on the Azure platform.

d. Performance cookies

Performance cookies enable us, and third-party services we add to the site, to understand key performance indicators of the website, helping to deliver a better user experience for visitors.

• CDI and CL are cookies set by Canva.

e. Advertisement cookies

Advertisement cookies allow third parties to serve customised adverts based on your previous browsing history.
