This role will relieve workload pressure on senior members of the team by undertaking grants management and some assessment of second stage applications. This work will be primarily in the areas of arts, children and young people and social change priorities. This role will involve managing a large and mixed portfolio of grants through liaising with grantees, reading reports and providing effective administrative support using the Foundation's database. This person will also manage applications alongside the Senior Grants Managers which will include analysing written proposals, seeking further information, collaborating with colleagues, advisors or other funders.

The successful candidate will have experience of a similar role with a busy funding organisation would be very advantageous and a firm understanding of the needs of charities in the UK, particularly around funding and sustainability. Naturally bright and intellectually curious, this person will be highly numerate, analytical and organised with a collaborative and customer service focussed approach. They will possess report writing and IT skills. Self-sufficient and proactive, this person will also have a commitment to equal opportunities and fairness for all.
