Tech vs Abuse 2.0

What is Tech vs Abuse?

In 2017, Comic Relief launched a Tech Vs Abuse (TvA) programme with the aim of inspiring technological innovation and effective digital solutions which improve the safety of those affected by domestic abuse. Based on research with the violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector it identified five design challenges.

Round 2 of Tech Vs Abuse was launched earlier this year in partnership with Comic Relief, The Clothworkers' Foundation and us, to build on and update the findings and key challenges.11 new investments have been made, totalling over £580,000. Kicking off in November 2019, for the next 12 months the organisations will develop digital tools, approaches, and services currently at the earliest stages of development.
