New Film: VocalEyes open up museums

Eye Opening Film:

VocalEyes

We are delighted to share the first in our 2017 series of Eye Opening Films - from VocalEyes, whose work with Museums, Galleries and Heritage we fund through a three year grant. The film was made by Day for Night Films.

The film shows - using both sound and image - how VocalEyes bring museum collections to life for blind and partially sighted visitors. It was made with the help of two museums: Wellcome Collection and Handel & Hendrix in London. VocalEyes has trained staff at both museums to deliver audio description, and they are frontrunners in welcoming blind and partially sighted visitors, and providing resources and events for accessible and engaging visits.

What action can you take?
