Main Fund
Our Main Fund distributes most of our funding. It is responsive to applications for support across the broad range of our sectors, which are: the arts, education and learning, the environment and social change.

From time to time we also allocate support through other funds. These tend to be targeted on specific issues where we want to make a particular contribution, and may change over time. Currently we have a Food Strand, a Finance Fund for non grant-funding, the Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund (run by the Museums Association) and a Merger Fund.
Finance Fund
The Finance Fund aims to complement the Foundation's grant programme by financing projects or organisations that need investment and have the capacity to manage the demands of non-grant funding.

Run by the Museums Association, the Collections Fund focuses on time-limited collections work outside the scope of an organisation's core resources. By selecting this fund you will be taken to the Museums Association website.
